Judit Ambus

Judit is the Service Manager at a Women’s Recovery Service in Camden, a specialist hostel providing holistic support to women experiencing multiple disadvantages and complex challenges.  

With over a decade of experience in the homelessness sector, she brings expertise in supporting individuals with dual-diagnosis and the overlapping issues of mental health, substance use, and trauma. 

She is deeply committed to partnership building, fostering strong multi-agency collaborations to deliver more coordinated and effective support for those facing multiple barriers. 

Judit is especially interested in the relational dynamics between frontline staff and clients, as well as between clients themselves, focusing on how shared trauma can influence the recovery process and impact emotional resilience.
