Kate Polson

Kate is the CEO of Rock Trust, a leading national charity working with homeless young people or those at risk of experiencing it. She has been in this role for 15 years working to design and implement services, practice methods and systems change that will enable young people to avoid, resolve and move on from homelessness. 

Prior to Rock Trust, her roles included providing and managing support services for young runaways, sex workers, older men and veterans who find themselves homeless, and street-based services for young people.

In addition to her role at Rock Trust, Kate is a member of EveryYouth (EYH UK) Board, an Executive Group member of the Housing First Europe Hub, member of the Services Sub Committee for Focus Ireland and Chair of A Way Home; Scotland (the national coalition to end youth homelessness) where she continues to support the implementation of Youth Homelessness Prevention Pathways with the Scottish Government. 

Kate believes youth homelessness can be ended and under her leadership, Rock Trust is working towards this.
